Vomd (ゾムド Zomudo) is one of the antagonists in the Macross 7 television series. She is a Protodeviln that serves under Lord Geperuniti and shares a bond with Goram.
Appearance & Abilities
Zomd is a large female-type large Protodeviln, who shares a 'pair relationship' with Goram. She stands at roughly 55 meters, but can grow as high as 200 and 600 meters depending on how much Spiritia she absorbs. She has no visible legs, and has a different arm configuration from Goram's.
Her body color is yellowish-green. He emits beams from eyes and hands, and is linked to Zomd. When linked, they can create large objects that emit powerful beams in a spiral-like pattern.
History
In February 2046, Zomd awoke with Goram after taking away the Spiritia from the citizens of the Macross 5 fleet. They swore to serve under Lord Geperuniti following their resurrection.
Goram and Zomd were later absorbed by Geperuniti's tentacles, which absored all their Spiritia until they withered away and disappeared.
Notes & Trivia
- In the Macross 7 series, the name of Goram is usually placed first before Zomd, but subsequent materials switched the order of their names.
