The Macross Extra (マクロス・エクストラ, Makurosu Ekusutora) is an SDFN-class ultra-long distance colony flagship seen in the Macross Δ Gaiden: Macross E manga.

History

Before the Macross Extra settled on Pipré, it was the flagship of a Super Long Distance Colony Fleet. During its voyage, it was in cruiser mode, but could change into Attack Mode in order to fire its powerful main cannon. With its role fulfilled, it now serves as a monument by its citizens.

In A.D. 2062, Ivan Tsari hijacked the Extra, and began rampaging across the human colonies of Pipré. He is ultimately defeated by the combined forces of Pirika Polywanov, Kite Kinjo, Echo Flight, Elma Hoilie and Chaos.
